HELLO

When I’m not building top-notch product experiences, I love spending my time traveling with my partner of 13 years, playing fetch with my best friend Otto, and searching for the latest brew.

World travel has been a passion since my first trip abroad as a 16-year-old exchange student. Since then, my partner and I have traveled extensively across Europe and North America, with a short trip to Japan in 2017. Living in Berlin from 2013 to 2016 allowed me to see much of the continent. From weekends in Brussels, London, Cologne, and Stockholm to week-long holidays in Rome, Copenhagen, Oslo, Madrid, and Amsterdam, I enjoyed all of what Europe has to offer thoroughly. One of my favorite areas to visit is the city of Bergamo and the surrounding countryside. Located just minutes outside Milan, Bergamo is built upon ancient Roman ruins and is surrounded by Venetian fortification walls, now a UNESCO world heritage site.  Pre-covid, my partner and I spent our summers in Bergamo, both working and relaxing.

My partner, a Gregorian Chant specialist, has spent significant time living and working in Belgium, both in Brussels and Leuven. This time in Belgium has exposed us to the wonders of Belgian beer, and to say we’re hooked would be an understatement. We enjoy it so much that we usually can “sniff” it out in any city we visit. 

In September 2020, we adopted our four-legged bundle of joy, Otto. He’s an energetic German Shorthaired Pointer, and he keeps his Daddies on their toes. He’s been a fantastic addition to our lives, especially during the hardships of the COVID-19 pandemic.
