Product design leadership
I lead product design for complex consumer platforms.
Nearly 20 years across loyalty, travel, financial services, marketplaces, and international products. I build teams, shape product direction, and turn complicated systems into experiences people can understand and use.
Based in New England. Experienced leading across the US and Europe.

How I work
Product direction
I help teams make sense of complicated products, decide what should be shared, and identify where customers or brands need something different.
Teams and working practices
I hire and develop designers, clarify responsibilities, and create practical ways for design, product, and engineering to work together.
Working prototypes
I use responsive, functional prototypes to test decisions earlier. They give stakeholders something concrete to review before engineering begins.
Leadership
Creating the conditions for strong design work
Building a team
I grew Product Design from a sole-designer function to a three-person team, led hiring and onboarding, and mentored one designer through promotion to Senior Product Designer.
Improving how teams work
I have led team-charter and role-definition work across Product Design and adjacent functions, along with practical standards for AI-assisted product design.
Leading beyond my reporting line
As President of RakAbility Americas, I run a distributed management team, budget, programming, public speaking, and policy recommendations across Rakuten.

Building the Product Design Function
Growing a team, developing designers, clarifying responsibilities, and establishing working practices across design, product, and engineering.
Care.com: Startup, Europe, and IPO
Growing from an early design hire into a European design leader while Care.com expanded from a Boston startup into a public global company.
Making Product Decisions with Working Prototypes
Using AI-assisted development to turn an idea into a responsive, functional product that teams could review before engineering began.
About
My career has taken me from an early-stage startup in Boston to a European design leadership role in Berlin and, today, to a loyalty platform used by major airline, banking, and retail brands.
Working across markets shaped how I think about consistency. A strong shared foundation matters, but so does leaving room for the differences that customers, brands, and local teams genuinely need.
I also serve as President of RakAbility Americas. I lead its management team, budget, programming, and work with senior and global leaders on accessibility and disability inclusion.

Let's talk
I'm interested in product design leadership roles where the system, team, and customer experience all need attention.
Particularly in consumer products, platforms, financial services, marketplaces, travel, and loyalty.
